2 great movies + 1 Sunday night movie

Living in a very multicultural environment makes possible to see a lot of non-Hollywood movies and discover that there are some many cool movies made in all kind of countries, which never get so much promotion as a Hollywood movie, which never become big - big trendsetters.

In the last weekend I had the chance to watch 3 movies (I think it was my movie watching weekend). The first wan is a Russian movie called Night Watch (Nochnoj dozor) and it is one of the best made movies I have ever seen. Each scene is a masterpiece, a lot of details are very well done. I was shocked that a cool movie like this can exist without anybody knowing about it outside Russia. Just to have a comparison, the movie was seen in Russia by more people then the Lord of the rings. And it has a lot of Eastern European Flavour. You can see the trailer of the movie if you
click here and you can get more information if you click here.

The second movie that I have watched was an Indian movie called "Black". It is not a typical Hindi movie with a lot of dances and songs. It is really well made and it has a great story as well. You can see some trailers if you
click here and you can read about the movie if you click here. It is one of the few movies which deeply impressed me lately.

The third movie was called
"Guess who" and it is an American comedy. The movie appears to be very real (those who were in this kind of situations, know it well :) ). However this movie marked my first cinema experience in Netherlands, actually I went to Utrecht to see it :). I have never been in a Dutch cinema before, and I was quite shocked by the fact that at the middle of the movie they have a break. And the cinemas are not so well equipped as I have expected (like Dolby surround or stuff like that), but of course there are superb ones as well.
I am really looking forward to discover other non-Hollywood movies and I plan to have a Hungarian movie night with my colleagues here, to show some cool Hungarian movies for them:) .
