Beach & Sand Sculpture Festival

I was to the International Sand Sculpture Festival in Den Haag (Scheveningen). There is a nice beach and you can do a lot of crazy things, like bungee jumping :) Dutch beaches are not like one would imagine a beach. When I was there it was so windy that I was freezing. People have a special windshield, and they use that against the wind, this is how they manage to stay on the sun :) And of course nobody was swimming :)

The sand sculptures were really cool. I was thinking that they are just some random sand castles and stuff like that, but they were really nice and I assume that people have put a lot of effort to make them.
