Close to the wildlife

No, I haven't been to Africa, these are pictures from the Singapore Zoo. I wish I would have been in Africa for a safari, but taking into the consideration my budget, I think the Singapore Zoo it is just fine. And I am not sure if there I would get that close to a lion without being its lunch.

I think Singapore Zoo is one of the best zoos in the world. As you might expect from Singapore, it has to be the best in the world and unique. Why is so cool? The animals are not in cages like in other normal zoos. They are free to walk around in a neatly defined area and you can get really close to them. You feel like walking around in the savannah and just looking around. You really don't feel that you are in a zoo. (Actually you could get him like this if you would want. It is a nice picture :) But let's save the animals :) )

I really enjoyed it, I was walking around for around 5-6 hours. It is huge and has so many animals and different settings. There is a Rain Forest setting where you feel like being in a real Rain Forest. And basically you are so close to some animals that you can touch them, of course it is not allowed and it is not that sexy to touch a bat :)

It is very educative in the same time. You can get some really useful information about each animal and why some of them are in danger because of the human activity.

There are so many different monkey types, it is just so cool. And if you catch the different animal feeding, it is just amazing. Seeing a 4 m crocodile eating a big peace of meet is quite impressive.
In spite of the fact that there are 35 degrees outside, you can see a huge polar beer, sea lions and some penguins as well. This zoo it is just cool :):):) I am very very excited about it and I am sure that will be back there soon to see the night safari, a unique thing.
(this is the proof that I would not be a good elefant as my foot is just too small and tiny :) )
