Perfect Trip :)
Quite a long time since I wrote on this blog, though lots of things are happening. But now I want to write briefly about my trip back home, which was my best trip back so far (not that I go home every weekend).
So many “moving” things happened in a very short time :):):)
My rollercoaster of emotions started in Amsterdam. Just being back in Netherlands after two years made me very happy: the streets, the houses and of course the good old friends I met there. Amsterdam is pretty much everything that Singapore is not, quite a crazy place, therefore it was very refreshing. I walked out of the central station and it was totally dirty, because it was very early and it was smelling marihuana the whole area. Hehehehe.
The wedding of my friends was so nice. I really like them and I was so happy to see them getting married. It is a very special event when a good friend is getting married, but when two of them are getting married to each other, then it is extra super mega special. They are a very nice couple :):):) It was good to meet at the wedding a lot of friends from AIESEC and catch up with them. It is very hard to visit everybody on a home trip, so it is very nice to see them gathered. :):):)
After the wedding I finally got to my home town and finally see my brother’s kid. It is the cutest kid ever. I know that all the kids are cute and nice, but this is the cutest of them all, especially because I am his Godfather. I don’t want to be sentimental and all this blah blah, but I look at the pictures taken back home with him every day since my brother sent them to me. This does not mean that I want to have my own kids now, ok? But look at the picture below and you know what I mean :)

Besides spending wonderful time with my family and catching up with friends from my hometown and surroundings, I also made a trip to my university city to catch up with my friends from AIESEC and also to meet the new members of the organization. We had a crazy party and so many of my close friends were there, so, so nice. It is hard to describe those feelings, because we have been through so many things together, and meeting them always brings back the feelings of those times. I guess whoever was there, agrees that that’s the way to party :):):)
I travelled quite a bit in the area and also went to the city where I was born. It got very beautiful, especially the centre of the city. I was lucky to have good weather, because there usually is very cold.
I don’t know when will be back home again, but the amount of good memories from this trip will give lots of energy for a while. :):):)
